I am a Research Technician with the Environmental Health Research Group at the Czech University of Life Sciences (CULS), Prague. My current work focuses on the effects of temperature on zoonotic pathogens, applying Distributed Lag Non-Linear Models (DLNM) and Generalized Additive Models (GAM) to model environmental health outcomes.
My broader technical background spans Earth system emulation using machine learning (Gaussian Process Regression, VAE, GAN), cheminformatics analysis of cyanobacterial metabolites, and numerical methods for variably saturated flow — including study of the Richards equation and its solvers.
I work primarily in Python and R, with experience in spatiotemporal data (NetCDF), HPC environments, and tools such as Google Earth Engine and QGIS.
